Adrian is a serial technology entrepreneur having built two successful mobile software companies; both achieving leadership positions in their respective markets before being acquired. Adrian is an active Angel Investor and sits on the boards of several companies including fast-growing technology firms like the point-of-care medical device company Chipcare, the SaaS company TrackTik, and the GRC software provider Resolver. Adrian is also the co-founder of the Madiro Fund, a charitable organization created to support innovative solutions to the health problems in low-income countries.

Andrew McDonald has over 20 years of experience leading innovative product teams that break into new markets, beat the competition, and delight customers. He has been part of a successful exit of a venture-backed startup and multiple enterprise software businesses that have grown rapidly and profitably past the $300M revenue mark. He comes to AlayaCare, having most recently held senior positions at Alcatel-Lucent, CENX, and Kinaxis where he was the Chief Product Officer. An avid hockey player, Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

As Chief Operating Officer, George oversees a portfolio of AlayaCare’s operating functions including Customer Success, Strategy & Corporate Development, People & Culture, Finance, Legal and Compliance. A passionate academic, thought leader and team-builder, George joins AlayaCare and the home-based care industry after more than a decade building Clio into the largest and most innovative legal technology platform in the world. George contributed significantly to the digital transformation of the practice of law by launching the Legal Trends Report. He also serves as a Board Member to several technology startups and is a mentor to technology leaders. At AlayaCare, George focuses on building high-performing teams that help our customers thrive.

Naomi is currently Senior Vice President of Data and Intelligence at AlayaCare. Her mandate is to drive value and leverage data to support the innovation strategy of AlayaCare. This is done through applied research in machine learning and optimization applications to make home care agencies more efficient and improve clinical outcomes. Naomi also has a wealth of experience as a start-up entrepreneur and a seasoned business executive.

As AlayaCare’s SVP of Corporate Development and Strategy, Geoff articulates and executes our short- and long-term strategic plans, in close collaboration with our executive team. His portfolio includes overseeing traditional corporate development functions as well as our Market Leader roles, Partnerships, and Product Marketing. Geoff joined AlayaCare in 2022, bringing a diverse background spanning two decades in technology, finance, and capital markets, most recently as a Managing Director with Scotiabank’s Global Equities division. He is a Professional Engineer and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

With almost 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Jeff Howell joined AlayaCare in 2017 and is now the Director of Growth at AlayaCare, where he spearheads North America's go-to-market strategies. With his extensive knowledge in the home healthcare domain, Jeff is also the host of the most electrifying home health podcast globally - Home Health 360 podcast, engaging with home health leaders worldwide. Prior to joining AlayaCare, Jeff worked in commercial real estate, helping brands such as Lego, Mozilla, Ocean Spray and Edward Jones.

Isaac Alexander is responsible for leading and driving the AlayaCare product and technology vision. He is responsible for developing new and innovative approaches, which will serve as the basis for AlayaCare’s technology for several years into the future; helping manage and coordinate the resources and processes to deliver software releases of company products. Isaac develops the vision, definition, and strategy for the engineering and product teams by driving project/program initiatives that deliver on AlayaCare’s vision.In addition, Isaac is tasked with working with the teams in solving technical issues on performance, scalability, extensibility and enterprise systems including technical leadership for the full product life cycle. He is the champion for AlayaCare's individual contributor career track ensuring top talent is challenged and supported well.

Casey Barnes has 15 years of experience in the home healthcare domain and over 25 years in various segments of information technology. His roles have included leading enterprise home healthcare agencies through transformational technology projects and optimization initiatives. Prior to joining AlayaCare as the Director of Strategic Accounts, he served as the Executive Vice President of Delta Health Technologies which was acquired by AlayaCare in 2021.

Joost van Engen has a master’s in business administration. He started his career in 2000, working in the FMCG industry on sales and distribution of canned meat in Africa. After 5 years he shifted to distribution of essential medicines and medical supplies to international donors (Red Cross, MSF, USAID) and Central Medical Stores mainly on the African continent. Eleven years ago, he founded Healthy Entrepreneurs, a social enterprise working on last mile service deliveries of healthcare services. In the last 11 years, he developed a successful, scalable delivery model replicable to various Sub-Saharan countries. In 2016, Joost was selected as Ashoka fellow.

Chris has nearly 30 years of experience in leading technology transformations in several different industries with a deep focus in healthcare operations and technology. As Chief Information Officer of Elara Caring, he is responsible for leading the organization’s entire IT function and implementing technology solutions that help deliver outstanding patient care. Prior to joining Elara Caring in early 2022, Chris served as Vice President, Applications Delivery at BJC Healthcare, a large Midwest hospital system; Senior Director, Healthcare Advisory at Price Waterhouse Coopers; and Senior Director, Technology at Ascension Health. Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University.

Matt Kroll is the Practice President for Personal Care at BAYADA Home Health Care. He leads BAYADA’s strategy and operations for private pay personal care across 15 states and over 100 markets. Matt’s experience includes strategy and planning, operations leadership, current and new market expansion and Sales/Marketing leadership and development. Prior to joining BAYADA Matt spent 12 years in home care developing new business, managing operations, implementing strategic plans, and opening multiple new office startups including Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay and Non-Medical Companion service lines. Additional experience includes leveraging technology for process improvement, relationship management with top insures, and leadership development. Matt also serves as Board Member and Treasurer for the Home Care Association of America(HCAOA).

Katherine Evans began her healthcare career in 2002 as a Registered Nurse working in ICU and Critical Care after graduating from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, NE with her nursing degree. Within a year of working in the hospital she began working as an ICU Charge nurse and House Supervisor for the 56 bed hospital dealing with patient admission placement through the emergency room, house wide staffing, and emergency intervention. Her love of client care and wanting to ensure the wellbeing of her patients after hospital discharge lead her to Home Care where she started her first Medicare Certified Home Health agency from the ground up in 2007. Katherine joined the Brookdale Senior Living team in 2016 and currently has the privilege of serving as the Divisional Director of Operations for the Brookdale at Home service line where she is responsible for the direct operations support of 29 Private Duty Home Care agencies within 10 states, as well as all current strategic growth and expansion initiatives, including 4 new agencies start-ups.
