Major Middle Eastern Home Care Agency Signs With AlayaCare

Enayati Home Healthcare Center announces the launch of the first regional integrated home care software technology at Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the largest healthcare event in the Middle East and Asia.

(DUBAI, UAE) January 29th, 2015 – Enayati; a UAE based Canadian Home Healthcare Center and AlayaCare; a Canadian home care software provider, have entered into an agreement to implement an integrated cloud-based homecare software. The software includes first of its kind nurse mobile application, clinical documentation, complete back office suite and a family portal. When utilizing the software, Enayati will be able to capture, store, integrate and interact with clinical data to provide all stakeholders with insights to create better outcomes.

“Since inception, one of our goals was to advance homecare standards in the UAE. This can done by utilizing the latest technology in the field that will enable nurses to focus only care provision rather than fiddling with endless paper work” said Mariam Hasan, Founding Director and General Manager of Enayati. “With this software our intake and assessment forms automatically populate clinical documentation and care plans.” “The software will have an integrated interRAI tool; a well-established risk assessment tool catered specifically for elderly and vulnerable populations” added Ms. Hasan.  A large portion of Enayati’s patient base are over the age of 60 and have on average two co-morbidities (chronic conditions), most commonly cardiovascular and respiratory related. Elderly patients are sent home on multiple and complex medications to manage and control the symptoms related to blood pressure, edema, heart arrhythmias, and diabetes.

AlayaCare’s software will come with a full back-office suite that will allow Enayati to do smart scheduling and patient coordination among other critical tasks. The software will help efficiently manage staff and service patients with real-time information and through a single device. This translates to a high quality service delivered to patients at an affordable price.

“I am pleased that Enayati has chosen Canada’s AlayaCare as its technology partner for the Middle East” stated His Excellency Arif Lalani, Canada’s Ambassador to the UAE. “This is yet another example of a Canadian company providing cutting-edge technological solutions to help Emirati and other partners improve lives across the region. This software will contribute to greater efficiencies and enhanced patient experience to the region’s healthcare system.”

Adrian Schauer, CEO at AlayaCare added in response;  “AlayaCare is thrilled to have the opportunity to help the team at Enayati continue to execute on their vision of leveraging technology to deliver great outcomes for their patients and clients,”. “It’s a privilege to get to work with such a dedicated and thought leading group of professionals.”

“We are excited to be partnering and working closely with a great team of experts. AlayaCare’s partnership with Enayati is a long term one and their support for our team on the ground is an indication of their commitment” said Mariam Hasan in a closing statement.
