Setting the scene for digital resilience

As the COVID-19 began to sweep across the world at the start of 2020, life as we knew it changed. Communities were crippled by panic, social isolation, illness, and a fear of an unknown future. For care providers, they were on the frontline of a global pandemic. At AlayaCare, we were in awe of the dedication and unwavering commitment of organisations as they cared for their communities during such a vulnerable time, against such adversity.

COVID-19 also triggered a wave of unprecedented changes to how organisations operated. Regulations and guidelines were constantly shifting, and businesses had to navigate these changes within a system that was under enormous stress.

Why digital resilience matters

As we supported our own clients during the pandemic, we learnt a great deal. We saw what we could do be doing better, and felt very strongly that we wanted to do more to support care providers through the good times and the bad.

While we are emerging from the other side of COVID-19, there will be always be challenge and, sadly, more health crisis on the horizon. But that doesn’t mean we are powerless.
