Retirement Living 2024 press release
  • Client Intelligence Suite has been tested in beta mode by leading care providers like Absolute Care & Health, who found it to be a game changer
  • Home care providers can now prevent hospitalisations and adverse events by predicting risks and automatically warning staff with new software
  • The software uses Artificial Intelligence (AI), combing Natural Language Processing (NLP) & Large Language Model (LLM) technology with AlayaCare’s Predictive Risk Models

Press Release – 11th February 2025, Sydney, Australia: From today, Australian home care providers can benefit from AlayaCare’s Client Intelligence Suite to automatically alert care staff to potential risks for clients, avoiding adverse events and even hospitalisations. Using NLP & LLM technology, the Australian launch of the software follows its successful launch with some of the largest home aged care providers in Canada and the U.S. using it to give staff more time back in their day to provide an even better quality of care.

Annette Hili, AlayaCare’s General Manager ANZ commented on the AI innovation and how it will help support the aged care sector, making the workload for staff more manageable and delivering better outcomes for clients, “We know Client Intelligence Suite is going to have a tremendous impact on the aged care sector, alerting staff to potential adverse events thanks to Client Intelligence Suite analysing multiple data points which can be resource intensive to review. With a significant reduction in case management funding landing in a few short months, Client Intelligence Suite will improve triage time and reduce administration hours, which will help further improve the excellent service our customers provide for thousands of Australians.”

AlayaCare’s Client Intelligence Suite provides proactive insights that improve client outcomes by optimally integrating clinical notes, client data, and predictive analytics. It enables staff to quickly triage clients with a visual dashboard, and minimises their time spent on manual tasks with automatic clinical note interpretation. AlayaCare’s proprietary Predictive Risk Model uses clinical and visit data sources to build a risk model for each client to enable care workers to anticipate adverse events or hospitalisations, enabling proactive intervention.

Natalie De Vos, Director of Clinical Service Innovation & Governance, Absolute Care & Health tested the beta version of Client Intelligence Suite and found it to be a game changer, “Client Intelligence Suite has been a game changer for us. It’s helped cut down on admin work and reduced the risk of human error, allowing our staff to focus more on providing quality care. The automatic risk warnings have made a real difference in helping us take a preventative approach, which means fewer trips to the doctor or hospital for our clients helping to enable continued independence at home. It’s exciting to see technology making such a positive impact in in-home care, and I hope it continues to benefit the wider healthcare system.”

Client Intelligence Suite was created by a team of eight data scientists, researchers and developers working for almost four years to create this well-honed solution. As this sector and AI continually evolve, AlayaCare’s priority is ensuring providers have peace of mind with data security and compliance across finance, scheduling and more. It is at the forefront of software innovations that help drive better outcomes for everyone in the sector.
