As AlayaCare grows to meet the expanding needs of the home and community, disability and residential care sectors, we are excited to announce key changes to our global leadership team.

We have recently promoted Brady Murphy to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and have appointed three new seasoned executives to its executive team: George Psiharis as Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Marki Flannery and Jean-Michel Lemieux as members of AlayaCare’s Board of Directors.

Murphy, who formerly served as VP of Sales and Marketing, will continue to lead global sales and marketing in addition to overseeing AlayaCare’s account management department.

The new leaders collectively bring more than 75 years of experience spanning enterprise, home health and SaaS technology, and will play a pivotal role as AlayaCare continues to gain traction as leader in health care technology.

“We’re proud to strengthen our executive bench and to have such strong leaders join AlayaCare bringing critical expertise to accelerate our rapid growth and innovation,” said Adrian Schauer, AlayaCare’s CEO & Founder. “We look forward to the immediate impact that Brady, George, Marki and Jean-Michel will have in building on AlayaCare’s success and passion for driving the next generation of health care through modern technology.”

Brady Murphy, CRO

Murphy has been with AlayaCare for nearly eight years, most recently serving as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. An accomplished marketer, speaker, and entrepreneur, he has been part of two exits of start-ups in the technology field. The first startup brought to marketers the world of mobile marketing, and his company was one of the first mobile marketing agencies to emerge in the digital boom in the early 2000s. The second startup was a pioneering software company to bring mobility to workforce management.

George Psiharis, COO

Before joining AlayaCare as COO, Psiharis climbed the ranks at Clio, a legal technology company, where he grew a small startup of 10 employees to an industry leader with customers in over 100 countries, a multi-billion-dollar valuation, and one of Canada’s most celebrated company cultures. After an 11-year run at Clio, Psiharis brings his rich operations experience to AlayaCare, where he will spearhead strategic planning and a wide variety of business functions.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the AlayaCare team at this exciting stage of their journey,” said George Psiharis, COO at AlayaCare. “Adrian and his team have built an incredible culture, product and business.”

“I’m looking forward to jumping on board and working closely with this team to accelerate AlayaCare’s mission to empower care providers to achieve better health outcomes.”

Marki Flannery, Board of Directors

Flannery’s role as a board member of AlayaCare will focus on providing the AlayaCare leadership team with additional knowledge, expertise and guidance on the market as they continue to evolve their technology to meet current and future industry needs.

Flannery previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), the largest not-for-profit home and community based health care organization in the United States. During her tenure, Flannery also led VNSNY’s Partners in Care, which provides a wide range of personalized home care services. Under her leadership, Partners in Care became the largest agency of its kind in the greater New York City area, expanding staffing, service geography, and growth in its different product lines.

 Jean-Michel Lemieux, Board of Directors

As a new AlayaCare board member, Lemieux will build upon a strong foundation laid by AlayaCare founders to provide direction for the organization as it enters the next phase of growth.

Lemieux previously served as the Chief Technical Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering at Shopify, where he was responsible for the company’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and platform. Since leaving Shopify in July of 2021, Lemieux has become an advisor, board member, and investor, helping founders and entrepreneurs build and scale their companies and products.

“One of our greatest health care challenges is ensuring that those with serious chronic illness and other maladies of aging can remain as independent as possible,” said Jean-Michel Lemieux. “Technology will be a critical component of home health care and will help share data, provide access to care professionals, and much more. Technology will be key to bringing home care at scale to all our communities. I’m excited to join AlayaCare to help them grow and scale their home care software platform.”
