Meet Courtney and Why She Believes AlayaCare is Making a Difference

I believe in AlayaCare for many reasons; these reasons are always accumulating and changing as I learn and evaluate. The time I spent with our Development team last week is the inspiration for this post and why I believe in AlayaCare most (this week).

A group of Developers, Client Success Managers and Product Managers all sat around our board room table discussing the home care environment and how we can make our product meet the needs of home care agency workers and clients.

Our team went back to analyzing, measuring and making decisions based on impact, value and complexity. What will introducing this feature mean to our users? How will it benefit clients? What is the best approach for building this? The strategy we leverage is simple in principle (not always easy to execute); continuously engage our users and subject matter experts for evidence based feedback to drive the development of features and feature enhancements.

I believe in AlayaCare because of our belief in the user; a prominent theme and message from a great Podcast series that was introduced to me by my friend and colleague Lesleanne: How to Start a Start Up. I thankfully see this principle being applied very regularly.

Going back to the opinions of the experts, of users and of where home care is going is an ongoing pursuit–one that continues to challenge our team. How can we learn everything there is to know about home care and apply it to technology?

No one can be an expert on everything and we are not perfect; it is in AlayaCare’s endeavours to learn, our agility of applying the knowledge gained to introduce new tools and techniques to get feedback into the software that reinforces my belief that we are on a road to success.

There will be bumps along the way, but with our SIG groups, user experience tracking table and who knows what else will be next (there will be more), the path we are paving is one not only built by our team, but built by home care.
