Aleem Bhanji is a senior leader at AlayaCare, adjunct faculty at the University of Toronto and National Health Fellow. With over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, digital health strategy, and project execution, Aleem currently serves as the Market Lead for AlayaCare’s Canadian market. This means that Aleem is responsible for developing AlayaCare’s Canadian strategy and aligning the company’s internal teams to meet the needs of its customers today and into the future, based on healthcare trends and technological advances. In a voluntary capacity, Aleem has been involved with non-profit organizations, serving as a director on various Boards for over two decades. He also volunteers his time and efforts in establishing primary home-based care programs throughout Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. Aleem has earned a bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics & computer science from the University of Waterloo, a master’s degree in health sciences from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Canadian College of Health Executives. In September 2024, Aleem was also recognized as a Canadian National Health Fellow.

Alex Skinner is a strategic leader at AlayaCare with hands-on experience across every phase of the customer journey. He began in implementation before supporting over 200 organizations as a product expert in solution engineering, working across Canadian, U.S., and international markets. Alex contributed to the design of AlayaCare’s ROI framework and later led the development of the Customer Maturity Model—a framework now used in 90% of enterprise accounts to benchmark performance and guide value realization strategies. Today, he plays a leading role in shaping the company’s AI strategy, with a focus on agentic workflows that deliver the greatest value to providers. His cross-functional background gives him a unique lens into what’s working for the most successful homecare organizations.

Allan Levine serves as Senior Vice President of Revenue & Growth at Nevvon, a leading provider of e-learning solutions for the home care industry. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, business development, and compliance solutions, Allan has been at the forefront of helping home care agencies navigate workforce challenges, compliance mandates, and operational efficiencies through training technology.

With over a decade of progressive leadership experience at Integrity Home Health Services, Brandis Moran brings deep operational insight and a strategic lens to home and community care delivery. Since joining the organization in 2013 as a Branch Manager, Brandis has steadily advanced through various leadership roles, each reflecting her adaptability, innovation, and results-driven approach to organizational growth. A key figure in the implementation of AlayaCare, Brandis was instrumental in guiding the system rollout across all New Brunswick regions. Recognizing the potential within her organization, she developed tailored workflows, led staff training, and championed the platform’s ongoing optimization to align with Integrity’s operational goals. In her current role as Vice President of Operations and Strategic Management, Brandis leads initiatives focused on turning frontline data into meaningful action—improving scheduling, service delivery, and team performance. Her work centers on using metrics not just to measure, but to manage—with a sharp focus on what truly drives outcomes in home and community care.

Christian Alaimo is the Co-Founder and COO of Caribou, a technology company dedicated to helping care organizations become high-performing operations and world-class employers. Caribou’s industry-leading innovation combines data and behavioral psychology to drive the outcomes that matter most to agencies, from retention and recruitment to EVV compliance.Before co-founding Caribou, he spent over a decade in consumer analytics and marketing - leading marketing strategy at PepsiCo for brands like Gatorade and Quaker, and was a three-time representative at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Driven by firsthand experience watching his nonna navigate the home care system, he now aims to create positive impact at scale through Caribou, enabling agencies to deliver quality care to everyone who needs it.

Erin Baker is the Director of Solutions Engineering at AlayaCare, where she leads a team focused on designing client-centered care solutions. With a background in health sciences and innovation management, and over seven years at Alayacare, Erin brings deep expertise in bridging technology and care delivery to improve outcomes across the home and community care sector.

Geoff Darling is happiest at the intersection of business and innovative technology with a higher purpose. As AlayaCare’s CRO, he leads the global revenue organization, overseeing go-to-market functions across sales, marketing, account management, and our partner network. He is passionate about leveraging technology to transform the future of home care by fostering partnerships with customers and stakeholders. Having been an early believer in AlayaCare's mission, Geoff formally joined in 2022, bringing a diverse background spanning two decades of technology and finance experience.

Etienne is the Director of Product at AlayaCare, where he’s been shaping the platform since joining the product team in 2017. As the longest-standing member of the team, Etienne brings a deep understanding of both the healthcare space and AlayaCare’s technology. With an engineering background and a passion for solving complex problems, he has contributed to nearly every aspect of the platform over the years —most notably in scheduling where he built our visit verification engine. Today, he leads the mobile, family portal, and product design teams, helping to drive innovation and user-centric experiences across AlayaCare’s solutions.

Hal Ali is the Director of Data Engineering at AlayaCare, where he leads the design and delivery of scalable data infrastructure and analytics capabilities across the platform. With a focus on empowering data-driven decision-making, Hal oversees data architecture, pipeline optimization, and platform reliability—ensuring teams across the organization can access accurate, actionable insights to improve operations and outcomes in home-based care.

Isaac Alexander is responsible for leading and driving the AlayaCare technology platform. He serves as the technical evangelist for the architectural vision, strategy, and principles for AlayaCare and Procura (formerly Complia) products. Isaac is the champion for AlayaCare’s individual contributor career track ensuring top talent is challenged and supported well.

Jean-Francois (JF) Gailleur brings more than 30 years of experience in the software industry, leading positions with fast-growing start-ups and large companies such as SAP, hybris, AppDirect, Elevate Security, and Radialpoint. He has held many different roles in positions such as software engineering, system architecture, product management, business strategy, CTO as well as leading many Development and Cloud Engineering teams in international environments. JF holds an Engineering Degree in Computer Science and Robotics from Marseille Polytechnic University and an MBA from John Molson School of Business, Concordia University in Montreal. JF is a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec. JF has two kids and enjoys outdoor sports.

Jo Stone is a transformational healthcare leader and change management expert with over 25 years of experience leading complex system transitions, optimizing operations, and advancing person-centered care. She brings deep expertise in driving successful change through strategic planning, process redesign, and technology adoption—particularly in home and community healthcare. Jo is known for her ability to bridge the gap between policy and practice, align teams around a shared vision, and deliver scalable solutions that improve service delivery, scheduling efficiency, and care equity. Her grounded, people-first approach to change leadership ensures that transformation is not only effective—but sustainable.

John has almost 30 years as a technology entrepreneur working in the Care Industry. During that time, he successfully started and built several companies. John leads a passionate team driven by a shared vision to ‘enable all people to live their best lives with choice and dignity’. John’s multi-disciplined team together with care providers, work to bring about fundamental improvements in the overall care delivery and quality of life outcomes for care recipients supported by use of easy to use and innovative technology solutions. John has an Honours Degree in Elec Eng (University of Sydney), an MBA (Macquarie University), and is Chair and Co-Founder on Australia’s leading charity for Social Inclusion, Touched By Olivia Foundation.

Josephine DesLauriers is an award-winning leader who brings strategic guidance to all areas of her work and thrives at optimizing operational platforms through all aspects of organizational design. Her expertise spans a broad range of skills, including change management, organizational and leadership development, and regulatory matters, with specific career concentration in the health care sector. She has served as HR/Labour Relations/SVP in hospitals, long-term care, retirement living, home and community care, private health care, and was a leader in the developing medical cannabis industry in Canada. She is an active home health care advocate and serves on many boards and thinktanks, acting as trusted advisor to several boards of directors. Josephine is widely recognized in the health care sector for her work in senior care/housing and hospital and community care. Most recently, Josephine began serving as CEO at CarePartners, an accredited national home and community health services provider organization heavily concentrated in Ontario. As CarePartners CEO, Josephine has led this large, dispersed health care organization through a pandemic and health care human resources crisis, while advocating for worker safety, awareness of specific home and community care issues, and pushing for improvements in the overall Canadian health care system. Josephine is an active Vice Chair on the Board of Directors at Home Care Ontario, an organization designated as the voice of home care. In addition to her frequent collaboration with other home and community service providers, various level of government teams, and industry partners, Josephine’s passion lies in modernizing health care and innovating to support the ministry of health’s plan to improve patient capacity, access and appropriate care. She enjoys volunteering time to support entrepreneurs successfully scale their businesses using people-strategy techniques, and participates in “pay it forward” mentality by providing mentoring and career transition support, with concentration on those in marginalized communities. Josephine loves spending time with her family and two children, and the family is frequently involved in community- minded projects with the objective of serving others.

With over 13 years of experience as a wound and ostomy advisor in both community and long-term care settings, Jovana is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic wounds. A passionate leader and educator, Jovana developed a specialized wound prevention program for Personal Support Workers, focusing on early identification and proactive care. Known for a deep commitment to patient well-being and a love for teaching, Jovana continues to inspire and empower healthcare teams to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.

Meet Kris Aiken, the President and Co-Founder of our dynamic team. Kris's journey is as diverse and compelling as the city he now calls home – Toronto. Before leading The Care Company to new heights, Kris showcased his tenacity and discipline as a professional football player for the Argonauts from 2004 to 2006. This early chapter instilled in him the importance of teamwork and perseverance, qualities that continue to define his leadership style today. Following his time on the field, Kris transitioned seamlessly into the healthcare industry. From 2009 to 2016, he served as a surgical device sales representative and regional manager, working closely with doctors and nurses in the Operating Room. This hands-on experience not only honed his business acumen but also fueled his passion for making a meaningful impact in healthcare. In 2016, Kris took a new direction, entering the realm of Home Healthcare. This shift was inspired by a deeply personal experience – watching his father tirelessly care for his grandmother for many years. Witnessing the challenges faced by his father ignited Kris's desire to provide support and assistance to individuals in similar situations. His dedication to improving the lives of others is at the core of The Care Company’s mission. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kris is a family man with twin daughters, a lovable Bulldogge named Howard, and a deep love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where he proudly holds a purple belt. This personal touch reflects Kris's commitment to creating a compassionate and understanding environment both within our team and for the clients we serve.

Marcelle Thibeault is the Vice President of Client Care and Chief Nurse Executive at Carefor Health and Community Services in Eastern Ontario. She is a registered nurse by profession, and a seasoned healthcare executive whose career spans 32 years with experience extending primary care, public health, home care coordination, tertiary care specialties in pediatrics, nephrology, oncology, surgery, critical care and professional practice. She's participated in several electronic health record implementations in hospitals. Most recently, she is the clinical executive lead for the Carefor Health and Community Services AlayaCare implementation. Carefor has successfully implemented AlayaCare for its home and clinical care business line and, as of September 27, have gone live with their phase 2 implementation, onboarding their retirement home business line and community support services in AlayaCare as a business solution to modernize their business.

Naomi is currently Senior Vice President, of Data and Intelligence at AlayaCare. Her mandate is to drive value and leverage data to support the innovation strategy of AlayaCare. This is done through applied research in machine learning and optimization applications to make home care agencies more efficient and improve clinical outcomes. Naomi also has a wealth of experience as a start-up entrepreneur and a seasoned business executive.

Neil Gilchrist is a Solutions Architect within AlayaCare’s Forward-Deployed Engineering team. Drawing on experience in Professional Services, Technical Services, and Product/Engineering at AlayaCare, he designs and delivers integration and automation architectures that help home and community care providers improve outcomes for caregivers and patients. Known for tackling complex and ambiguous challenges, Neil seamlessly bridges the gap between technology and business/operations to deliver solutions that make a meaningful difference. Based in Guelph, Ontario, he balances his passion for problem-solving with the joys (and chaos) of raising four sons—a three-year-old and one-year-old triplets.

Nilmini Senewiratne has been a dedicated Attendant and Personal Support Worker with Nucleus for 16 years. She finds joy and fulfillment in supporting clients with their daily living needs, and treasures the moments when their happiness and gratitude shine through. The love she brings to her work is reflected in the lasting connections she builds and the dignity and comfort she helps provide every day.

Paul Fam is the Director of Customer Education at AlayaCare, where he leads the strategy and delivery of training programs, in-app education, knowledge management, LMS courseware, and community engagement. A lifelong learner with a background in clinical, nursing, and allied health education, Paul brings deep expertise in educational technology, adult learning, and accessible design. He takes a learner-centered, evidence-based approach to creating impactful experiences that drive adoption, unlock value, and support long-term customer success — with the ultimate goal of connecting education to better outcomes for patients and care teams.

Porchia Tjiramba has dedicated over a decade to serving in group homes and community care. With 10 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker, including seven years with Nucleus Independent Living, she has spent the past three years as a Client Care Lead. For Porchia, caregiving is not just a profession but a reflection of who she is. She approaches every interaction with empathy, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to quality care. As a leader, she is proud to guide with heart, teamwork, and purpose, always advocating for both clients and the PSWs who support them.

Robert Stanley graduated from the University of Toronto with a BSc in Computer Science and quickly advanced to leadership roles in several technology companies. Driven by personal experiences and a critical need to establish homecare as foundational to healthcare, Robert combines his technical expertise, operational acumen, and visionary leadership to redefine healthcare delivery in Canada. In 2023, Robert founded CHAH Technology as the innovation arm of Stay at Home Nursing, advancing the vision of Comprehensive Healthcare at Home. Under his leadership, the organization is pioneering transformative solutions that integrate cutting-edge technology with compassionate care, driving meaningful change at scale.

Steve has a broad leadership career spent in the senior living, life science, and telecom industries. Utilizing more than 25 years of deep technology and operations experience, he brings a progressive approach to the business. Steve has led large-scale transformations that are anchored in a strong focus on the customer while achieving business results. He is well known for building organizations with a positive team-oriented culture and a strong sense of partnership that is systems enabled. Prior to joining Extendicare, Steve was the Chief Technology Officer at Revera where he used innovative technology to drive value for both customers and employees. While at MDS Inc., Steve led product development and acquisitions to drive significant growth and transformation. Steve has a BSc (Hons) in Physics from McMaster University.

YH is a product marketing leader specializing in the health tech sector. At AlayaCare, she drives go-to-market strategies for key solutions such as the Clinical Suite, Marketplace, and Family Portal. She also leads messaging and positioning efforts for the Canadian Public Sector and the U.S. Home Infusion & Skilled Nursing markets. With a deep passion for the role of technology in driving better outcomes, YH brings a thoughtful and strategic lens to innovation in home care delivery.
